REFLEXOLOGY

Reflexology is a wonderful and gentle form of massage for activating the healing powers of the body through the feet. It was first practiced by the Egyptians hundreds of years ago to promote good health.

The feet are a mirror for the body and each reflex area corresponds with all major organs, glands and body parts. The Reflexologist works each foot feeling for imbalances which feel “gritty” or like “bubble wrap” to the practitioner. These “gritty” areas indicate imbalances within the body and the Reflexologist works these areas to release and unblock them allowing better blood flow and nutrients to these areas.

Reflexology is deeply relaxing and reduces stress, cleanses the body of toxins and impurities, balances the whole system, revitalizes energy, improves circulation and boosts the immune system. Reflexology can also assist with specific health problems as mentioned below.

First Treatment

At the initial treatment session a full medical history will be taken for each client so please allow 1½ hours for this treatment. Each subsequent treatment session is approximately 1 hour. The client lays, fully clothed, on a couch for the entire treatment, but will be asked to remove socks and shoes to allow the feet to be worked on.
