MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a very gentle advanced massage technique which uses slow rhythmic pumping movements which help to move the lymph in the correct direction around the body. By stimulating the lymphatic system the removal of toxins from the body is improved. The lymphatic system produces lymphocytes (white blood cells which protect the body from infection) and antibodies (released by lymph nodes to attack a specific virus or bacteria) this helps with the body’s immune system. Each session of Manual Lymphatic Drainage is specifically designed to suit every client's individual needs.
The treatment is wonderfully relaxing and when done on the face, it has been found to reduce wrinkles and makes the skin younger looking.
Our experience, personally and as therapists, has shown Manual Lymphatic Drainage to be particularly helpful for people with rheumatoid arthritis in the hands, knees and feet.
First Treatment
At the initial treatment session a full medical history will be taken for each client.
